Rehabilitation in Germany contains a large amount of untapped digitalization potential. The
purpose of this work was to investigate the extent to which digital transformation is feasible for
mental health rehabilitation and how the potential of digital solutions can be realized. A
qualitative study was conducted with three expert groups, including physicians, clinical
managers, and employees from digital companies, in cooperation with a German clinic group.
According to the findings, the key to navigating the path to digitally supported rehabilitation is
change management. Recommendations for action are provided on how to successfully manage
the change process
