One man’s loss is another man’s gain”, it is what best describes the story of Peloton, a
connected home fitness company that thrived when the whole world was in lockdown. Yet, the
soaring company was not spared, from PR scandals to mismanagement and marketing mishaps.
The post pandemic area required the company to undergo drastic changes and engage in growth
strategies one of which was a potential expansion to Asia-pacific. This represents an education
opportunity for students that can learn through the case study how to assess an expansion
project through industry research and cost-benefit analysis.
