Resumo(s)
In this research are addressed issues related to the development of a business with social
impact in the F&B sector. Through an accurate study of some university articles, the
requirements for starting economic activity are examined, and then the benefits that will be
created are analysed. In particular, the effects of Corporate Social Responsibility on a
company’s financial performance are studied, concluding that a responsible and sustainable
policy can play a key role in the F&B sector. Finally, two Portuguese associations of the
sector are introduced, to try to understand if they can represent a future resource to implement
in the university campus of Nova, in order to create new businesses with social impact in the
F&B sector
