Resumo(s)
Agriculture needs to change if it wants to grow nutritious food while being resilient against
extreme weather conditions due to climate change. This case study compares the profitability
of transitioning conventional farmland towards regenerative (using cover crops, no-till and
biofertilizers) against conventional farmland over a time period of 5 years. The study has been
performed on a large industrial regenerative arable farm in The Netherlands. The results show
that in the worse case scenario the profits are reduced with 7% over the 5 year lifecycle while
in the best scenario profits increase with 43%
