Resumo(s)
This paper aims to enlighten the reader of the growth of M&A in markets as a way to increase
value and diversify product portfolio, in recent years we have seen a bet of companies as a
growth tool, but the main goal is to understand the strategic and financial reasons for the
technology giant Microsoft to invest in the acquisition of Activision as a way to expand its
market and add value to its existing gaming and entertainment divisions and how it can be a
piece strategic in the new times of Web3 and metaverse.
