Resumo(s)
Around 70% of companies fail to successfully implement a digital transformation (DT) (Forth, et al. 2020, 1). This study examines the critical success factors (SFs) of a DT. Existing academic views on the SFs of a DT are reviewed and then compared with the results of primary research. Six key clusters of a DT are identified, each containing several SFs. Furthermore, action steps are examined to provide practical guidance to companies. It was found that the experts’ perceptions and experiences are broadly consistent with the derived academic perspectives. However, some SFs seem to be more important than others.
