Tendo como base o trabalho de observação e respetiva lecionação realizado ao longo do ano letivo 2021/2022 no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, na escola secundária D. João II em Setúbal, o seguinte relatório pretende demonstrar que recorrendo à cinematografia e à educação para a cidadania é possível promover o diálogo intercultural na aula de língua estrangeira. Para tal, e em função da metodologia de investigação em ação, foram desenhadas sete unidades didáticas que, levadas às aulas, permitiram pôr em prática os princípios da educação para a cidadania com resultados que evidenciam o desenvolvimento do espírito crítico dos alunos, tendo sempre em conta os direitos humanos.
Based on the observation work and respective teaching carried out throughout the 2021/2022 school year within the scope of Supervised Teaching Practice at D. João II secondary school in Setúbal, the following report intends to demonstrate that resorting to cinematography and citizenship education it is possible to promote intercultural dialogue in the foreign language class. To this end and based on the research-in-action methodology, seven didactic units were designed which, when taken to class, made it possible to put into practice the principles of education for citizenship, with results that demonstrate the development of the students' critical spirit, having always taking human rights into account.
