O presente Relatório de Estágio é o resultado de um estágio curricular realizado na Embaixada do Peru em Portugal. Composto por diversas vertentes do que é o trabalho de uma Embaixada com Secção Consular incluída, o estágio incidiu maioritariamente sobre os procedimentos consulares requeridos pela população peruana residente em Portugal, mas também sobre os mecanismos de relações bilaterais entre Estados. Neste sentido, o relatório apresenta uma apreciação dos trabalhos realizados na Embaixada, desde as funções consulares às políticas, passando também pelas culturais e administrativas, não esquecendo o contacto com a população peruana. Por outro lado, numa componente de investigação e com base no histórico da agenda bilateral e noutra documentação consultada, é traçada uma evolução das relações bilaterais entre Portugal e o Peru após o 25 de abril de 1974, refletindo sobre a sua história e o nível diplomático em que se encontram atualmente.
The following Internship Report is the result of a curricular internship that took place at the Embassy of Peru in Portugal. Composed of many aspects of what is the work of an Embassy with a Consular Section in it, the internship focused primarily on the consular procedures required by the Peruvian population in Portugal, but also on the mechanisms of International Relations between States. For that matter, the report presents an assessment of the activities that took place at the Embassy, from the consular to the political ones, also analyzing the cultural and administrative ones, without forgetting about the contacts with the Peruvian population. On the other side, in an investigational component and based on the bilateral history and searched documentation, it is written an evolution of the Bilateral Relations between Portugal and Peru after the April 25th of 1974, reflecting about its history and the diplomatic level that they are currently in.
