| Resumo: | A fundamental challenge for social enterprises is to effectively scale their impact and ensure their innovations reach as many people as possible. This case study features the Girl MOVE Academy to illustrate how a not-for-profit intends to scale its impact by expanding its practices from operating locally in Mozambique to offering a virtual program with global reach. The Girl MOVE Academy promotes female leadership based on a unique mentorship methodology. The case not only describes the Academy’s operating model but explains its innovation process characterized by an experimental mindset and continuous learning approach. Also, challenges associated with scaling are discussed. |
