Resumo(s)
To achieve a full electric transition, it is imperative to increase the share of electricity
in energy consumption, by replacing common use of Heat and Transports with alternative
electric powered solutions. Three main sectors contribute to almost 80% of GHG emissions
coming from energy use: Industry, Buildings and Transports and several changes are needed
for these sectors' electrification. Through the use of solutions like electric furnaces, smart
heating appliances and electric vehicles, electricity has the potential to represent 50% of final
energy consumption by 2050 as opposed to 20% in 2020
