Resumo(s)
In this project, we research the economic viability of installing solar panels in the city of
Barcelona, Spain. We first collected information regarding electricity consumption, installation
cost of solar panels, information about loans for financing the project and electricity costs and
compensations. With this information we calculated the optimal number of panels according to
the restrictions present in the city to achieve the highest value of Net Present Value. Afterwards,
we use the information achieved and calculated to obtain other financial variables regarding the
project alongside other possible scenarios.
