Resumo(s)
This paper analyses logistics and its components that affect a company's competitiveness and
what to consider to gain a competitive advantage. To answer this, 4 years of data from the
retailer Intermaché are statistically analyzed to determine the relationships between variables.
The results show a trivial relationship: companies benefit from focusing on their logistics,
which explains a large part of their performance variance. However, this may depend on the
constraints and requirements of each industry.
