Este relatório é o resultado do estágio que realizei na Orquestra Geração Sistema Portugal, enquanto componente não letiva do mestrado em Estética e Estudos Artísticos. Será feita uma descrição da entidade de acolhimento, os seus objetivos e missão, o que é identitário e demonstrativo das suas particularidades, as especificidades do projeto implementado, desde o início e a sua evolução, bem como o projeto na qual é inspirada. Serão apresentadas e detalhadas as tarefas desenvolvidas junto da direção bem como os resultados de um estudo empírico realizado durante o estágio. Este estudo pretende essencialmente evidenciar de que forma a prática musical em orquestra, por crianças e jovens provenientes de meios socioeconómicos desfavorecidos, pode contribuir para uma maior inclusão social. A experiência estética vivenciada pelos intervenientes neste projeto (alunos, famílias e comunidades envolventes) será também objeto de reflexão. A possibilidade de realizar um estágio numa organização onde pudesse ser útil, contribuir para o seu desenvolvimento e que, simultaneamente, me permitisse olhá-la através dos conhecimentos e enquadramentos teóricos obtidos durante a parte curricular, foi, desde o início, um grande objetivo deste mestrado, cujos resultados estão plasmados ao longo dos 3 capítulos.
The present report is the result of my internship with the Orquestra Geração Sistema Portugal, as a non-academic component of the Master in Aesthetics and Artistic Studies. It starts with the presentation of the host organization, its aims and mission, the particulars of its identity and singularity, the specificities of the implemented project, from the moment it was launched through its development, together with the project that inspired it. There follows an introduction to the tasks developed and a detailed description of their implementation with the management, as well as the results of an empirical study carried out during the internship. My main purpose consists in demonstrating how music practice in orchestras by children and young people coming from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds is likely to help foster social inclusion. The aesthetic experience of all those involved in this project (pupils, families and surrounding communities) will also be the object of reflexion. One of the main aims of the present master was the possibility of an internship in an organization where I could feel useful contributing to its development and, simultaneously, which would allow me to consider it in the light of the knowledge and theoretical frame acquired in the course of study. The results are set out in the three chapters.
