The attention given to cultural journalism has not remained stagnant over the years. This internship report aims to expose the path taken by cultural journalism and, in particular, by music, which enjoys a considerable prominence in the editorial line of the media, as well as among the public, as well as the molds that have acquired over time. The impact of covid-19 is also taken into account, as well as the transformations it brought to the heart of television journalism about culture and, in particular, about music. Before the research, the whole course of the chosen television station for the curricular internship, SIC, is described, in the different editorships and editions, with practical examples of reports made for the first newscast of the day of the generalist channel, Primeiro Jornal. This study includes a content analysis of 24 episodes of SIC's cultural program, Cartaz, at two moments - 12 episodes in 2016 and 12 episodes in 2020 - and an interview with the person in charge of the program and the channel's culture editor. Given a comparative analysis of these two moments, it was possible to conclude that, in fact, the pandemic had a significant effect on the area of culture and that the shutdown of the area was directly reflected in cultural journalism. Less time for culture, less reporting and more news, and less music genres contemplated are some of the changes concluded by this study, for which covid-19 had a considerable and, above all, decisive impact.
