This paper focuses on the impact of the female gender on the financial performance of banks,
in the European Union, within the timeline of 2005 and 2022. A comprehensive analysis of
gender tells us that in the banking sector, throughout the years, there have always been more
male workers than female ones. Using an Ordinary Least Squares regression model, we could
conclude that gender does not play a role in explaining the economic well-being of banks,
meaning no correlation or impact exists. Similar studies have reached the same findings.
