The renewable energy market has been a dynamic growing
market in a modern world where the stakes couldn’t be
higher. With the current state of the world, the search for
clean energy has never been higher and with no signs that
it will slow down. This research paper focuses on the
equity research of NextEra Energy, which is composed of
FPL (third largest utility company in the United States), but
is also the world’s largest generator of renewable energy
from the wind and sun. Throughout this paper, we will
explain the current state of the company, the future
projections, as well as, a Discounted Cash Flow valuation
and a Multiples valuation.
