Neste relatório da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada pretende-se entender a importância que o estudo do património local pode ter para o conhecimento histórico dos alunos. O grande objetivo deste trabalho foi mostrar aos alunos que o espaço onde habitam ou estudam pode ser uma ferramenta importante para adquirirem conhecimento histórico. Um aluno deve questionar, intervir, relacionar, de forma a entender a importância da valorização do património local. Como conquista, o aluno torna-se mais crítico, criativo e atento ao que o rodeia, explorando ainda mais o seu papel como cidadão ativo na sociedade. O estudo de caso incidiu sobre uma turma do 10.º ano de escolaridade, da Escola Secundária de Cacilhas-Tejo (localizada em Cacilhas, concelho de Almada, distrito de Setúbal). Baseado num conteúdo lecionado em aula, a carta de foral, os alunos tiveram a oportunidade de analisar os Forais de Almada, como uma ferramenta de valorização do património local. Os alunos puderam entender a importância deste documento, a relevância da sua análise e a necessidade da sua preservação.
In this essay regarding the Supervised Teaching Practice we intend to clarify the importance that the study of local heritage can have for the student's knowledge of History. The main goal of this work was to show to the students that the space where they live or study can act as an important tool to acquire historical knowledge. A student must make questions, intervene, relate, in order to understand the importance of valuing the local heritage. As an achievement, the student becomes more critical, creative and attentive to their surroundings, exploring with deeper will their role as an active citizen. The case study focused on a class of the 10th grade, from Escola Secundária de Cacilhas-Tejo (located in Cacilhas, municipality of Almada, district of Setúbal). Based on the content taught in class, the charter letter, the students had the opportunity to analyze the Almada Charters as a tool to value the local heritage. The students were able to understand the importance of this document, the relevance of analyzing it and the need for its preservation.
