It is essential to mobilize SMEs to take environmental sustainability measures in order to
achieve the European goal of net zero emissions by 2050. However, this implies the
implementation of a new strategy that must be operationalized, considering involvement from
every member if it is to succeed. Through the findings of 5 interviews with a mix of junior
employees and senior managers, I was able to outline in 6 steps how this change can be endorsed
by all employees in an SME.
