Resumo(s)
SMEs’ sustainability transition may significantly contribute toward achieving global
sustainability targets. Hence, the first part of the project analyses how Swedish SMEs can
accelerate their environmental sustainability. By analyzing challenges, best practices, and the
ecosystem, we derived recommendations that build on a shift in mindset toward perceiving
sustainability as an opportunity. While this shift must be anchored in the core business it can
be accelerated by enablers, e.g., NGOs. From here, the second part investigates how the
organization B Lab specifically can be an accelerator of change for SMEs by helping them
improve their sustainability along the recommendations derived.
