In line with its commitment to contribute to climate goals and its electromobility strategy, EDP
has an important role to play in the growing fleet electrification market in Portugal and Spain.
To succeed, the company will need to design a high-service model to create brand awareness,
build customer loyalty and develop and maintain a distinct asset. Many of the management
tools and techniques available to business leaders have been designed to meet the challenges
of products, not services. EDP needs to leverage new tools driven by a strong culture for its
service-oriented business to achieve excellence.
