Resumo(s)
The Covid-19 pandemic has challenged schools with a shift toward e-learning with current
solutions not satisfying its users. The present work examined past experience, needs, and pain
points of teachers and students in German secondary education. Based on this user-centric
approach, necessary features of a learning-management system were identified and a B2B2C
platform with external complementor software was suggested, including communication,
learning analytic, and management tools. Recommendations for implementation entail
expectation management, alignment of motivation, and onboarding services. The results place
findings from different disciplines in relation to and aim to demonstrate a holistic view of
schools’ demand on platforms as part of a complex social system.
