A presente tese documenta as várias etapas do projeto A Ilustração como um meio para Educação
Artística e Educação Literária, posto em prática no âmbito das disciplinas de Educação
Visual e Tecnológica de uma turma de 5.º ano da Escola Básica de Telheiras no decorrer do 1.º
período.
Neste projeto solicitou-se aos alunos a conceção de uma história de forma escrita e visual,
assim como o desenvolvimento de representações bidimensionais e tridimensionais, através
da ilustração e proporcionadas pelo desenho e pela cerâmica.
Foram mobilizados alguns saberes prévios da área do desenho e novos conhecimentos adquiridos
através da cerâmica, permitindo ter um projeto interdisciplinar das áreas da Educação
Visual e Tecnológica, assim como da disciplina de Português.
Pretendeu-se que os alunos adquirissem competências em artes Artes Visuais e Cerâmica, no
domínio de múltiplas representações para uma narrativa, no desenvolvimento da criatividade
e do domínio da estrutura projetual.
Através dos resultados obtidos, podemos entender que os alunos conseguiram ter uma
avaliação positiva, no geral, e até superar expectativas em relação à aplicação de novos
conhecimentos, como foi o caso da cerâmica.
This thesis documents the various stages of the project Illustration as a means for Artistic Education and Literary Education, put into practice within the visual and technological education disciplines of a 5th grade class of the Telheiras Basic School during the 1st period. This project allowed students to conceive a story in a written and visual way, as well as developing two-dimensional and three-dimensional representations, through illustration and provided by design and ceramics. Some previous knowledge of the area of drawing and new knowledge acquired through ceramics were mobilized, allowing to have an interdisciplinary project in the areas of Visual and Technological Education, as well as Portuguese discipline. It was intended that the students acquired skills in the Visual Arts and Ceramics, in the domain multiple representations of a narrative, in the development of creativity and the mastery of the projectual structure. Through the results obtained, we can understand that the students were able to have a positive evaluation in general and even exceed expectations regarding the application of new knowledge, in particular ceramics.
