Surfing is one of the most difficult sports in the world. Professional surfers consistently leverage videos to improve their performance. However, non-professional surfers, who represent close to the totality of surfers worldwide, rarely have the chance to be recorded due to excessive prices, planning and uncertainty involved with booking a photographer. Surf Eyeis the most advanced surf camera network that allows surfers to record every wave of their session. This work project applies Lean Start up and Customer Development concepts and methodologies to an extensive field research that helped to validate multiple hypo theses and to get closer to a problem / solution fit.
