Este trabalho de projeto visa associar a componente teórica adquirida no Mestrado em Tradução a um trabalho de tradução prático. O trabalho consiste na tradução de discursos da autoria de figuras públicas, que possuem uma intencionalidade pragmática, cujo objetivo é modificar ideias e comportamentos. Estas traduções são depois analisadas e comentadas, dando especial destaque às dificuldades de tradução e às soluções encontradas para as resolver.
This project aims to associate the theoretical component acquired in the Master's in Translation with a practical translation work. The work consists of the translation of speeches made by public figures, which have a pragmatic intentionality and whose aim is to modify ideas and behaviours. These translations also are analyzed and commented on, with special emphasis on the translation difficulties and the solutions found to solve them.
