Resumo(s)

During COVID-19 stressors of Mental Health problems increased drastically as the majority of population was confined in lockdowns. People with better financial and economic resources could have been more resilient to the challenges on their MH. The purpose of this study is to understand this relation, starting from the SHARE Corona Survey (SCS) population based longitudinal database of Europeans aged 50 and above, through two main research questions: 1. To examine the association between income and mental health using Survey 1 for Axis I mental disorder variables present in the database, for which a negative interaction was found; 2. Given the same income across Surveys, to study whether people with higher income were more likely to increase or maintain their previous level of mental health, which it is not necessarily the case.
