Esta dissertação, com base teórica na teoria da Estética da Receção de Hans Robert Jauss e Wolfgang Iser, e o modelo de competência comunicativa intercultural de Michael Byram, discute a importância da literatura no ensino de português e no desenvolvimento de talentos na comunicação intercultural na China, sugerindo que além do tradicional método comunicativo, no ensino de português como língua estrangeira na China se preste mais atenção ao papel da literatura no desenvolvimento da competência comunicativa intercultural.
This dissertation, with theoretical basis in Hans Robert Jauss and Wolfgang Iser's Reception Aesthetics theory and Michael Byram's intercultural communicative competence model, discusses the importance of literature in teaching Portuguese and developing talents in intercultural communication in China, suggesting that besides the traditional communicative method, in teaching Portuguese as a foreign language in China more attention should be paid to the role of literature in developing intercultural communicative competence.
