The fashion Industry has a complex supply chain, making the environmental impact of clothing a difficult task to measure. In the absence of transparency in fast fashion brands, green washing is used to influence and mislead consumers, making it difficult to understand what products are in fact sustainable. So, an environmental score based on the consumers most urgent environmental impact variables can be a powerful tool to persuade and empower their buying decisions towards more environmentally friendly options.
