Resumo(s)
Covid-19 accelerated the digital transformation of health care, and new ways of delivering it emerged. This study aimed to explore how reorganizing care and delivering it through Integrated Practice Units would create value for patients. Three stakeholder groups were interviewed to ascertain the feasibility of a digital clinic in Portugal. The results suggested that implementing a digital clinic in Portugal is feasible, and among the pathologies considered, diabetes had the greatest receptivity for a digital setting by all stakeholders. Creating a digital clinic for diabetes in Portugal will then be a cutting-edge business model with tremendous potential.
