O presente relatório visa descrever as tarefas que me foram atribuídas durante o estágio curricular na Alêtheia Editores, entre 27 de setembro e 27 de dezembro de 2021, para obtenção do grau de Mestre em Edição de Texto na Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas, após a conclusão da componente letiva. Na primeira parte do relatório faço uma breve descrição da editora, incluindo os elementos que constituem o Grupo Alêtheia Editores e os diferentes serviços que oferecem. A segunda parte é dedicada à enumeração e descrição das tarefas que realizei ao longo dos três meses: a preparação de texto para a paginação, a revisão de texto e a tradução. Por fim, termino fazendo um balanço geral da experiência, referindo os aspetos positivos, os desafios que enfrentei e algumas tarefas que não tive a oportunidade de realizar.
The present report aims to describe the tasks that were assigned to me during my internship at the publishing house Alêtheia Editores, from the 27th of September to the 27th of December 2021, in order to obtain the Master's degree in Text Editing at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, after the conclusion of the study program’s course units. In the first part of this internship report, I give a brief description of the publishing house, including the main elements of this editorial group, and the different services they offer. The second part is dedicated to listing and describing the tasks I performed during the three months I spent there: text prepping before the pagination of the book, proofreading, and translation. Finally, I give an overall balance of the experience, mentioning the positive aspects, the challenges I faced, and some tasks that I did not have the opportunity to perform.
