O presente relatório visa apresentar e descrever as atividades por mim realizadas durante o estágio na Câmara Municipal de Sesimbra, entre setembro de 2021 e janeiro de 2022, no contexto da realização da componente não letiva do Mestrado em Edição de Texto. Após um total de quatrocentas horas de estágio na Comissão Interna Consultiva – Gabinete de Informação e Relações Públicas, que tem como objetivo acompanhar os trabalhos de revisão e assegurar o fluxo de informação interna, intento explorar neste relatório a importante ligação entre a edição e revisão de texto na criação de conteúdo informativo numa contextualização turístico-cultural. Assim, ao longo do relatório é feita uma abordagem específica às atividades realizadas enquanto editora, revisora e tradutora do website “Visit Sesimbra” e, consequentemente, todas as problemáticas face a essas mesmas tarefas. Por último, procuro refletir sobre a importância de um bom texto informativo, bem como a sua tradução, perante o marketing digital de uma instituição autárquica.
This report aims to present and describe the activities undertaken during my internship at Sesimbra City Council, carried out between September 2021 and January 2022, required to the conclusion of the master’s degree in Editing and Publishing. After a total of four hundred hours of internship at the Consultative Committee – Information and Public Relations Department, which aims to monitor the revision work and ensure the flow of internal information, I intend to explore in this report the important connection that the editing and revision of text have in the creation of informative content in a tourism and culture context. In this manner, throughout the report it is made a specific approach to the activities carried out as an editor, reviewer, and translator of the “Visit Sesimbra” website and, consequently, all the challenges facing these same tasks. Lastly, I try to reflect on the importance of an efficient informative text as well as its translation, regarding the digital marketing of an autarchic institution.
