Durante o seu quotidiano, o ser humano contacta, ainda que involuntariamente, com a Arte. Aquele que se predispõe a entrar em diálogo com ela pode submergir num mundo marcado pelas narrativas da época histórica em que foi produzida, nomeadamente os valores simbólicos, culturais e pelos gostos que marcavam aquela sociedade. Para além desta carga histórica, os objetos artísticos possuem, também, uma dimensão estética que apela aos sentidos e aos sentimentos de cada ser humano. A utilização das Artes Visuais em História revela-se necessária, uma vez que os objetos artísticos podem ser considerados fontes para a construção do conhecimento histórico (possibilitando o desenvolvimento da empatia histórica) e permitem o desenvolvimento da argumentação e da produção de juízos estéticos. O presente Relatório resulta de uma reflexão teórica sobre aspetos da Teoria da Arte, da Estética e da Educação Estética e Artística, e da realização de atividades que promovem o desenvolvimento da sensibilidade estética e artística, aplicadas durante a Prática de Ensino Supervisionada em História, que teve lugar no Agrupamento de Escolas Monte da Lua – Escola Secundária de Santa Maria, no ano letivo 2019/2020. Com este trabalho, pretende-se analisar a importância que a Arte tem na formação do indivíduo e o contributo das disciplinas de História A e História da Cultura e das Artes para o desenvolvimento da sensibilidade estética e artística.
During their daily lives, human beings come into contact, albeit involuntarily, with Art. Those who are willing to enter dialogue with it can submerge into a world marked by the narratives of the historical period in which it was produced, namely the symbolic and cultural values and tastes that marked that society. Besides this historical charge, the artistic objects also have an aesthetic dimension that appeals to the senses and feelings of each human being. The use of Visual Arts in History proves to be necessary since artistic objects can be considered sources for the construction of historical knowledge (allowing the development of historical empathy) and allow the development of argumentation and the production of aesthetic judgements. This report results from a theoretical reflection on aspects of Art Theory, Aesthetics and Aesthetic and Artistic Education, as well as the implementation of activities that promote the development of aesthetic and artistic sensitivity, applied during the Supervised Teaching Practice in History, which took place in Agrupamento de Escolas Monte da Lua – Escola Secundária de Santa Maria, in the 2019/2020 school year. This work intends to analyse the importance of Art in the formation of each student and evaluate the contribution of História A and História da Cultura e das Artes to the development of aesthetic and artistic sensivity.
