O presente relatório tem como propósito a exposição de tarefas concretizadas no decorrer do estágio curricular, componente não letiva integrante do mestrado em Gestão do Território. O mesmo decorreu na Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, mais concretamente na Divisão de Gestão de Informação Georreferenciada. É responsabilidade das autarquias o garante do desenvolvimento territorial de forma coesa e integrada, cabendo às mesmas a procura por soluções viáveis de suporte ao processo de tomada de decisão. Pelas suas potencialidades, os municípios têm considerado dos SIG e as soluções WebSIG ideais no âmbito do processo de tomada de decisão, pois contribuem para solucionar diversas problemáticas inerentes às novas sociedades, recorrendo a dados e informação emanados, de forma constante, pelos territórios. Com a concretização dos projetos no âmbito do estágio, e fazendo utilização de inúmeras metodologias, da qual destacar, a título de exemplo o processo de georreferenciação de informação, pretendia-se compreender qual a importância da utilização dos SIG no contexto da Câmara Municipal de Lisboa e qual o contributo da utilização dos mesmos na gestão do município.
The purpose of this report is to present the tasks accomplished during the curricular internship, a non-teaching component of the master's degree in Land Management. The same took place in the Municipality of Lisbon, specifically in the Division of Georeferenced Information Management. It is the responsibility of municipalities to ensure territorial development in a cohesive and integrated way, being up to them the search for viable solutions to support the decision-making process. Because of their potential, municipalities have found GIS and WebGIS solutions to be ideal in the decision making process, as they contribute to solve several problems inherent to new societies, using data and information constantly emanating from the territories. With the accomplishment of the projects in the scope of the internship, and making use of numerous methodologies, from which to highlight, as an example, the process of georeferencing information, it was intended to understand the importance of the use of GIS in the context of the Municipality of Lisbon and what is the contribution of their use in the management of the municipality.
