VMware(VMW)is a cloud computing and virtualization company, headquartered in Palo Alto, California. As customers are increasingly preferring the subscription model and the hybrid-cloud strategy, VMware is on a journey to transform in to a SaaS company and become leader in multi-cloud. This paper aims to value VMware by using methods such as discounted cash flow analysis and multiples valuation. By seeking a fair valuation, we intend to estimate the company’s enterprise value as of 28-01-2023(FY23)and provide investment recommendations for the incoming 12-month period.
