The automotive and energy segments were highly influenced by macroeconomic factors, technology, and consumers’ preferences. Through a few acquisitions and investments, Tesla has been able to improve its business performance and strengthen its market share in a highly cyclical segment with high entry costs. This research aims to construct a comprehensive valuation model under APV method, analysing Tesla’s strategic decisions and providing a fully based analysis of financial statements. It contains a final recommendation for shareholders, indicating the best investment approach. Furthermore, the report explores the current World’s commitment to modify consumer patterns from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources.
