This thesis examines the importance of trust creation in crowdfunding. Along the case of Go-Parity, a social crowdlending platform, measures strengthening the trust of private investors in the platform are investigated. Therefore, Go Parity’s past achievements and current challenges of trust creation are analysed. Subsequently, holistic recommendations accompanied by proposals on implementation are provided .Furthermore, the case of Go Parity is assessed from an impact measurement perspective. Thereby, the significance of meaningful data promoting desired outcomes becomes prominent. Significantly, the lack of unified assessment tools and the complexity to depict impact holistically represent challenges for Go Parity as a start-up with limited capacities.
