This thesis aims to develop a strategic internationalization plan for Pontual Software Solutions, a medium-sized Portuguese enterprise operating in the Software Industry. This paper starts by exploring the International Entry Mode Selection, which elaborates perspectives and theories regarding this field. Posteriorly, it provides an in-depth analysis of France, in order to evaluate if it is the most suitable country for Pontual to internationalize to. Four distinct dimensions will be covered: Contacts, Competition, Sales Potential and Market Entry Conditions. This analysis attempts to determine the most promising market in order to establish an international entry strategy, marketing plan, and financial forecast.
