Resumo(s)
Value-Based Health Care (VBHC) has gained relevance and international exposure since its induction in 2006 but is not yet widespread. Pilot projects often fail during implementation, falsely indicating that VBHC is not a promising framework. A blueprint was developed, allowing health care providers to assess their readiness for VBHC implementation, identifying the dimensions and subdimensions needed for success. A qualitative content analysis was conducted to analyze insights of 25 interviewed experts. Leadership and data capabilities were identified as overarching dimensions, further dissected and characterized. While leadership was identified as the imperial dimension for success, data capabilities gains relevance for scalability.
