This field lab aims to provide recommendations to Montblanc, a leading manufacturer of luxury writing instruments, and more, and to Grupo Tempus’ Montblanc franchise boutique at Colombo Shopping Mall, to enhance their sales potential in Portugal. The brand’s business is based especially on three categories: writing instruments, leather goods and watches. By analyzing the trends influencing each category, recommendations were provided. As a result, Montblanc should base its short-term sales increase developing the first two categories while the watches market, especially for the Colombo boutique, endorsed by Boutique dos Relógios know-how, should be the base of future business growth.
