This report is conducted within the scope of Supervised Teaching Practice, an integral component of the Master’s Degree in Musical Education in Primary Education and I intend to describe the experiences I lived in the School, in a succinct, reflective and critical way. I aim to show the challenges existing in distance learning, in the role of students and teachers, through the observed classes and the lessons taught. This work is divided into four chapters: The first chapter on Musical Education in Portugal through its contextualization (emergence and development in Portugal), the guiding principles and objectives of Musical Education, methodological guidelines (what should be worked in the discipline) and contents of Musical Education (concepts to be worked on). The second chapter is directed to the main theme of this report "Challenges of Distance Learning in Musical Education Classes". This chapter begins by explaining what distance learning is and what its teaching modalities are, we can see the advantages and disadvantages that exist in this type of education and finally the collaborative platforms that help make distance learning more dynamic and motivating. In the third chapter is made a contextualization of the Supervised Teaching Practice, a description of the grouping in question, the educational project, the clubs that are part of the grouping and also a characterization of the school where the internship was carried out. Finally, chapter four is the development of Supervised Teaching Practice where a short description of the music room and the classes is given. I also describe the classes observed in face-to-face and distance learning and finally reflect on the classes I taught. The report concludes with a reflection not only about this work, but also about the master’s degree and everything I brought to my life as a teacher.
