O presente relatório dá conta das práticas realizadas durante a minha Prática de Ensino Supervisionada (PES), que teve lugar na Escola Secundária Fernão Mendes Pinto, em Almada, durante o ano letivo 2020/2021. A prática pedagógica incidiu no ensino do género «crónica» que se reveste de hibridez e múltiplas significações, o que lhe confere uma grande aplicabilidade nas aulas de Português. Importa não dissociar aquela miríade de definições – crónica historiográfica, jornalística -, dos objetivos comunicativos de cada texto, e levar os alunos a adquirirem as ferramentas adequadas para que se tornem leitores competentes.
This report provides a review of the teaching methods used during my Supervised Teaching Practice (STP), at Escola Secundária Fernão Mendes Pinto in Almada in the 2020/21 academic year. The pedagogical practice focused on teaching of the "chronicle" genre, characterized by hybridity and multiple meanings, which makes it highly applicable in the Portuguese language classes. It is important not to dissociate that myriad of definitions of chronicle - historiographical, journalistic etc. - from the communicative objectives of each text and to help students to acquire the appropriate skills to become competent readers.
