LVMH has announced in November 2019the acquisition of Tiffany& Co. as part of their consolidation strategy. This work is divided into four different chapters which respectively analyze the theories related to M&A transactions, the current trend of the luxury sector, the companies themselves, and the deal that took place. This thesis aims to analyze the value creation potential of this acquisition and explain the strategy put in place by LVMH. The history of these two iconic brands shows that to ensure stable and continuous growth companies have focused on financial instruments and operations.
