Resumo(s)
This study examined the impact of meta-perceptions of deviant work behaviours on employees’ levels of exhaustion when mediated through two types of rumination and moderated through techno-stressors. A three time-lagged dataset (134 respondents) was used for analysis. Results: 1) Deviance was associated with both types of rumination and feelings of exhaustion. 2)Mediation through affective rumination always led to greater levels of exhaustion.3) This effect was more significant in cases of high techno-invasion.4) Mediation through problem-solving rumination was only found to be beneficial in cases of high techno-over load. In cases of low techno stress, no variation was found.
