Este relatório descreve as atividades realizadas no âmbito do estágio curricular de mestrado em Património levado a cabo na Biblioteca de Alcântara, no âmbito do projeto “Espaço Vidas e Memórias de Alcântara”, entre outubro de 2020 e abril de 2021. Este projeto encontra-se a decorrer em duas outras bibliotecas da Rede de Bibliotecas de Lisboa (BLX) e visa a salvaguarda das memórias das comunidades onde se encontram, através de um modelo participativo de colaboração entre a comunidade e a biblioteca. Os objetivos do estágio visaram o acompanhamento do projeto nas diferentes fases, aliadas ao conhecimento do funcionamento de uma biblioteca pública e às formas de interação com a comunidade local e o património, possibilitando atividades de investigação-ação, história oral, história de vida e observação participante. O relatório encontra-se dividido em quatro capítulos, apresentando-se uma breve contextualização sobre a história, a missão e os valores da Rede Bibliotecas de Lisboa e da Biblioteca de Alcântara; a principal literatura relativa aos temas e projetos sobre Memória, História Oral, História de Vida, e Património Cultural. O projeto “Vidas e Memórias de Bairro: Oficinas Comunitárias da Memória” é contextualizado, apresentando-se, de seguida, uma síntese do estágio realizado. Finalmente é apresentada uma reflexão patrimonial, abordando questões como o envolvimento comunitário, as metodologias utilizadas, o impacto e relevância deste projeto.
This report describes the activities carried out in the context of the master's curricular internship in Heritage carried out in the Alcântara Library, under the project "Espaço Vidas e Memórias de Alcântara", between October 2020 and April 2021.This project is taking place in two other libraries of the Lisbon Libraries Network (BLX) and aims to safeguard the memories of the communities where they are located through a participative model of collaboration between the community and the library. The objectives of the internship aimed to assist the project in its different phases, combined with the knowledge of the functioning of a public library and the ways of interaction with the local community and heritage, enabling activities of research, oral history, life history and participant observation. The report is divided into four chapters, introducing a brief contextualisation on the history, mission and values of the Lisbon Libraries Network and the Alcântara Library; the main literature on the themes and projects on Memory, Oral History, Life History, and Cultural Heritage. The project " Vidas e Memórias de Bairro: Oficinas Comunitárias da Memória" is contextualised, followed by a summary of the internship accomplished. Finally a heritage reflection is presented, addressing issues such as community involvement, the methodologies used, the impact and relevance of this project.
