This work project “Equity Research –Valuation of Farfetch” analyses and evaluates the Farfetch business within the personal luxury goods industry. The COVID-19 pandemic appeared as an accelerating factor in the digitalization of this very conservative industry, with Farfetch appearing in the lead of such transformation on its path to becoming the world ́s luxury eCommerce reference. This, along with new partnership with Alibaba and Richemont, which provides the company access to the most desirable luxury costumer base in the world, and the development of its own brand platform drove us towards a share price of US$70,33 FY21 and a HOLD recommendation.
