Resumo(s)
As climate change is becoming more visible, individuals, governments, and firms around the globe increasingly try to mitigate their ecological impact. For companies, the implementation of an (certified) Environmental Management Systems, e.g., ISO 14001 or EMAS, can improve their environmental performance. Through a systematic literature review, the past and current research regarding the effects of supply chain pressure on the adoption of EMS is analysed and synthesised. In total, 48 papers are assessed in detail, revealing several research gaps. These include the lack of research on EMAS and the role of female CEOs.
