This work project aims to develop and implement an accurate costing system for a media, telecommunications, and technological service provider. The company seeks to become more profit-oriented, but its management lacks detailed cost information of products and services. The proposed system is based on activity-based costing using fully allocated historical cost and the existing infrastructure landscape. The output is a comprehensive Excel workbook that calculates the cost per service/product as well as providing other beneficial information. It addresses various issues that the company management faces and lays the groundwork for improved decision-making and increased transparency.
