This the sis investigates which priorities firms take while adopting Green Supply Chain Management, and how it affects performance. It concludes that, overall, manufacturers start by focusing on internal environmental management and internal process efficiency. After gaining maturity on the topic, they expand efforts to the supply chain. Plus, green innovation is inherent to the process, but it is more prevalent recently. It also concludes that operational efficiency mostly translates into financial returns in the long-run, lower environmental risks are expected to avoid future costs, and that higher revenues are driven by higher intangible value associated with a green image.
