A presente dissertação visa abordar a possibilidade de doação por crowdfunding para
realização de greves trabalhistas. Para tanto, é revisada a história do movimento paredista em
aspecto global e nacional, assim como breves esclarecimentos acerca do atual contexto do
movimento sindical. É ainda apresentado o quadro jurídico do instituto da greve e da doação.
Cuida ainda de debater as principais alegações para impossibilidade do objeto em questão. A
análise não é unicamente por meio da demonstração do quadro legislativo, enfrentando o tema
sob aspecto sociológico. O objetivo central desse estudo é verificar os elementos referentes à
utilização do crowdfunding como meio de angariação de recursos para realização de greves
em Portugal.
The objective of the present thesis is to address the possibility of holding crowdfunding to finance labor strikes. In order to do so, it were revised the history of the strike movement in global and national aspects, as well as some of the explanations on the current context of the striker movement. The legal aspect of work stoppage and how donation works were also presented, while seeks debate the main allegations against crowdfunding as a way to finance labor strikes. Not only this thesis addresses the legislative point of view, but also faces this subject in a sociological perspective. The main goal of this study is to verify the elements referring to the use of crowdfunding as a way of raising funds for strikes in Portugal.
