O presente relatório visa descrever as atividades desenvolvidas durante o estágio curricular realizado na Alêtheia Editores, no departamento editorial/marketing, entre 01 de março e 01 de junho de 2021, como parte da componente não-letiva para obtenção do grau de Mestre em Edição de Texto. O relatório tem ainda como objetivo articular os aspetos práticos com os teóricos, apresentando reflexões acerca dos mesmos e do funcionamento da editora. O estágio tinha como objetivos principais aprofundar e consolidar os conhecimentos teóricos adquiridos durante a componente letiva do mestrado e obter experiência prática num contexto real da indústria literária portuguesa. Primeiramente, apresenta-se uma breve caraterização da editora, incluindo os seus objetivos, chancelas, linha editorial e parcerias comerciais. De seguida, descrevem-se todas as atividades efetivamente realizadas no estágio, apresentando com maior detalhe as consideradas mais relevantes no âmbito do trabalho desenvolvido. Por último, seguem-se as reflexões acima mencionadas, assim como as minhas reflexões pessoais e algumas conclusões finais.
The purpose of this report is to describe the work carried out during the curricular internship at Alêtheia Editores, in the editorial/marketing department from March 1st to June 1st, 2021, as part of the non-theoretical component of the master’s degree in Text Editing. Another purpose of this report is to conjugate the practical aspects with the theoretical aspects, presenting considerations regarding these aspects, and concerning the functioning of the publisher as well. The primary goals of this internship were to ameliorate and consolidate the knowledge acquired during the theorical component of the degree and gain practical experience in a real-world context of the Portuguese literary industry. Firstly, there is a brief characterization of the publisher, including its purpose, organization, editorial policy, and business partnerships. Subsequently, comes the description of all the tasks and work carried out during the internship, in which several the most relevant ones are discussed in greater detail. Lastly, come the aforementioned considerations, as well as my personal reflections and some final conclusions.
