Consulting project with the topic: “Ageas consulting field lab on a cyber risk value proposition –points of parity and points of differentiation in a beyond insurance offer”

Abstract

The project focuses on the strategic assessment of the potential value for insurer sincy berrisk and the development of a comprehensive and successful value proposition for Ageas in this market. To fulfil these objectives, external and internal analyses were conducted, to identify opportunities and threats of the cyber insurance market and Ageas’ strengths and challenges to enter in it. After wards, profitability indicators (market size and claims ratio) were measured to understand the potential for Ageas in this market. The team proceeded by formulating hypotheses and testing them through industry experts' interviews, customer indept hinterviewsandsurveys.Theoutcomeofthisprojectisasetofrecommendationsgroundedonthefivepillarsofanefficientvalue proposition– target segments, product (coverage, type and structure),“ go-to-market” plan, under writing solutions and a pricing concept –for B2B and B2C.
